Rachel is currently based in Berlin, Germany and pursuing a BA(Hons) in Screen Acting at Catalyst Institute of Creative Arts and Technology GmbH.
Originally from Malaysia, Rachel grew up in many different countries including Sweden, the UK and China. Having experienced a nomadic childhood has led her to have a fascination with language and human behaviour. Prior to discovering film and theatre, Rachel has always had a love for storytelling whether it was through music, painting or writing.
One of her biggest aspirations in life is to make theatre more accessible in Southeast Asia. She also wishes to continue pursuing academia in the arts to hopefully one day be able to teach tertiary drama students and direct full time.
